The solution for overheated yogurt makers!
All commercial yogurt makers have the potential to overheat because they aren`t designed to run for 24 hours. The ideal temperature for SCD yogurt is between 100°-110°F. Use this dimmer switch to keep the yogurt at the right temperature.
- To use: Keep the dimmer switch on full for the first six hours. At that point, test the temperature, it should be around 105°F. Turn down the dimmer switch to halfway, and keep it this way through the 24 hours.
Please note: Your temperature may vary due to environmental factors. Test your yogurt during the process to ensure the right temperature.
